With Bulgaria and Romania joining the European Union as of the 1st January 2007, it is more important that your business can cope with the ever expanding market available to you. The European Union provides businesses with a vast number of contacts which are vital to expansion in many sectors. It is possible, however, that there are language barriers to face.

Do you find that your clients or even your employees are natives of another European country? They may be based in England or possibly abroad, but you still need to make sure you understand them completely. You could be meeting someone who is not fluent in English, reading or sending documents to someone abroad or even needing to understand information on packaging.
